The screen resolution is 1024x600 pix on the new Lowrance Eagle 9 versus the resolution 800x480 on the previous Hook Reveal 9. This is a significant advantage, you see, because previously such high resolution was only available in HDS Live series echo sounders, which are among the top-end echo sounders in the Lowrance line! When an echo sounder with a large screen is informative and convenient, but if the resolution is insufficient, then the picture is not clear, blurry and with increased graininess. The new Eagle 9 fish finder now has a large screen and a clear picture thanks to high resolution! By the way, please note that the Lowrance Eagle 9 fish finder has a higher resolution than the popular Elite FS series of fish finders!
